Overview
Unconscious thought patterns and biases - we all have them and we will never get rid of them completely. But: For a successful diversity management making people aware of unconscious thought patterns, especially in the form of stereotypes, an important basis. After all, unfavorable unconscious biases lead to that managers fail to recognize talent and potential, that they misjudge and assess performance, that they exclude rather than integrate and that they show less sympathy and appreciation for certain people.
