Birte Erbeldinger studied agricultural science, specialising in soil science. Due to her experience in agriculture and the associated production of food, she is strongly connected to a natural circular economy. At the Terra Institute, she is part of the Nature and Climate team and, in addition to GHG balancing, is primarily concerned with biodiversity and agricultural science.​

Paul Lardon, a graduate engineer in technical environmental protection, worked in various areas in a global company in the environmental services sector before joining the Terra Institute. During his part-time Master's degree in Strategic Sustainability Management, he further developed his expertise in supporting companies in transformation. At Terra, his focus is on climate consulting and circular economy topics.
